Role Description
This is a contract remote role for Arabic (Darija) Language Translators and Linguists specializing in LLM (Large Language Model) annotation work. Responsibilities include translating and localizing content from Arabic (Darija) to English and vice versa, creating and editing high-quality language datasets, annotating text for AI training, and ensuring linguistic accuracy and clarity. Collaboration with other linguists, annotators, and project leads will be an integral part of this position.
Qualifications
- Strong fluency in Arabic (Darija) and English, with excellent translation and localization skills.
- Proficiency in linguistic analysis, grammar, syntax, and cultural nuances related to Arabic (Darija).
- Experience with content annotation, dataset creation, or language-specific QA for AI applications is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to meeting deadlines in a remote working environment.
- Familiarity with AI model training, machine learning concepts, and annotation tools is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in linguistics, translation, or a related field is desirable.
- Previous experience with LLM or similar projects is a strong plus.
