Role Description
As a Senior Audio Engineer, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality 2.0 and 5.1 mixes, with a sharp focus on dialogue clarity, dynamic balance, and overall sound quality. You should be a highly technical professional with a deep understanding of audio, post-production workflows, and an ability to work across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Perform detailed dialogue editing, cleanup, and pre-mix using industry-standard DAW (Pro Tools).
- Mix content in both stereo (2.0) and surround (5.1) formats for broadcast, OTT, and theatrical content.
- Oversee and maintain quality control across all audio deliverables, ensuring mixes meet both technical specs and creative intent.
- Provide mentorship and hands-on training for junior engineers, helping to elevate overall team standards and consistency.
- Collaborate closely with dubbing directors, voice talents, and internal teams to ensure all audio meets creative and technical standards
- Take ownership of studio equipment and software, including calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Troubleshoot technical issues and maintain consistent audio fidelity across different content types and languages
- Follow localization specs and adapt to client-specific workflows and delivery formats.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in professional audio post-production, preferably in dubbing.
- Strong technical foundation in audio engineering, acoustics, and mixing theory.
- Advanced proficiency in Pro Tools is required.
- Proven ability to mix in both stereo (2.0) and surround (5.1), with a strong sense of dynamic range, dialogue balance, and spatial awareness.
- High level of precision and consistency when editing and mixing, with a strong ear for quality control.
- Able to identify and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Comfortable managing, maintaining, and calibrating studio hardware and software.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset, especially when working across departments.
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.
- Comfortable working under tight deadlines.
