About The Role
Pocket FM is looking for a Content Lead for the Netherlands to manage and scale the adaptation and localization of our international audio series for the Dutch market. In this production and project management-focused role, you will lead a team of local screenwriters, oversee the translation and cultural adaptation pipeline, and manage project timelines to ensure seamless script delivery. You will operate within modern, AI-assisted workflows to drive production velocity, maintaining high operational standards while making global stories feel authentically Dutch.
Key Responsibilities
Localization & Slate Production
- Manage the end-to-end operational pipeline for adapting and localizing international hit series into high-performing Dutch audio scripts.
- Own production schedules, milestone tracking, and review queues across multiple simultaneous adaptation projects.
- Ensure adapted scripts meet strict production timelines, technical delivery standards, and budget constraints.
Screenwriter Management & Operations
- Lead, recruit, and manage a roster of freelance screenwriters across active project pods.
- Set clear delivery milestones, track writer velocity, and enforce accountability on deadlines and revision cycles.
- Provide clear, structured notes during review rounds to keep adaptation quality consistent without slowing down production.
AI Workflow Integration
- Utilize AI tools and LLM workflows to accelerate translation, script adaptation, and review processes.
- Train and guide screenwriters on using AI tools effectively to boost writing speed and maintain pipeline efficiency.Continuously refine day-to-day localization workflows to leverage new AI capabilities while maintaining human editorial oversight.
What We’re Looking For
- Producing & PM Experience: 3+ years in media production, script localization, project management, or editorial operations.
- Writer Management: Proven experience managing screenwriters, translation teams, or freelance content creators to tight schedules.
- AI Workflow Literacy: Direct experience working within AI-enhanced content workflows and comfort using LLM tools to optimize speed and process.
- Localization Expertise: Strong instinct for adapting global tropes, idioms, and narrative arcs to sound natural and culturally resonant for Dutch audiences.
- Language Skills: Native or bilingual fluency in Dutch, with professional proficiency in English.
What Success Looks Like
- International series are localized and handed off to audio production on time and on budget.
- The screenwriting team operates efficiently within AI-assisted adaptation workflows.
- A scalable, predictable production engine is established for all localized Dutch content.
