Verboo is the language services division of a leading creative production agency, WLP London Limited. Verboo serves a broad and exciting range of clients within the entertainment, corporate and tech sectors, supplying language work alongside translation+ services such as creative production, digital design and video localisation. This role is offered as part of the UK Government Apprenticeship programme. As a Project Management Apprentice, you will work towards the Level 4 Associate Project Manager apprenticeship standard with an approved training provider. You will work closely with our Project Management team to support the delivery of multilingual language service projects. Through structured training and practical experience, you will gradually develop the skills and confidence to manage projects independently. The role of the Project Management Apprentice entails the following: Supporting project management, translation coordination, quality control & proofreading, client communication and supplier management.
Full Description:
As a Project Management Apprentice, you will work closely with our Project Management team to support the delivery of multilingual language service projects. Through structured training and practical experience, you will gradually develop the skills and confidence to manage projects independently.
Your responsibilities will include:
● Supporting Project Managers with the planning, coordination and delivery of translation, localisation, subtitling and other language service projects.
● Liaising with clients, freelance linguists and internal colleagues to ensure projects progress smoothly and deadlines are met.
● Monitoring project schedules and updating project information using our project management and translation management systems.
● Assisting with resource allocation, task assignment and project administration.
● Helping to prepare project quotations and cost calculations under the guidance of senior team members.
● Performing quality control checks on project files and coordinating the review process with translators and proofreaders.
● Learning how to use subtitling software, CAT tools, AI-assisted translation technologies and client-specific platforms to support project delivery.
● Creating and maintaining translation memories, glossaries and style guides.
● Providing general administrative support within the Project Management team.
● Undertaking other duties appropriate to the role as your knowledge and experience develop.

As your apprenticeship progresses, you will be given increasing responsibility and opportunities to manage projects independently, with the support and guidance of experienced Project Managers.
Training Provided:
BPP apprenticeship training programmes are delivered virtually by our fully qualified and industry-experienced training team. Using their expert knowledge, we’ve purposefully built our programmes around the real-world use of modern technology, so that the skills we create can be directly applied in the workplace.
Throughout the apprenticeship learners receive coaching, help and guidance from a dedicated team who are there to ensure they get the most from their work experience

Qualification: Formal Level 4 qualification in project management
Study commitment: Typically 20% (one day per week) of dedicated study during working hours, alongside four days working within the Project Management team.
Skills Required:
● Fluency in at least one additional language apart from your native language
● Excellent computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Google Workspace, and Outlook.
Personal Qualities:
● Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
● Excellent organisational and teamworking skills.
● Ability to multitask and work under pressure, managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
Qualifications Required:
● Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
● Five GCSE’s at grades 9 to 4 (A* to C)
● Three A levels or equivalent (A* to C)
● Degree in relevant fi eld, such as Languages, Translation, Linguistics
