The Role:
The Content Production Manager (CPM) works closely with the client’s Image Producer and agency Content Studio to execute and create all required localized screens featured within the client’s website or other marketing materials, including reviewing content for cultural viability in Greater China-Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. The role also supports the language creative team with “buckets of content” and versions of photography. The role will coordinate with Cross-Functional teams, the Creative Director, & Business Affairs to choose content for any new project, including apps, music, movies, TV shows and podcasts. The position works closely with the agency Content Studio in Geo to execute all required screen versions necessary for projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take direction from client Image Producer on localization strategy for each project and liaise with client Functional Producers to align on deadlines
- Work with client Image Producer and agency studio to plan resourcing and manage prioritization
- Build consolidated short lists of campaign imagery to client brief
- Gather screengrabs, assets and construct briefs to request asset creation from Geo Content Studio for new screens to be built
- Develop deep proficiency in iOS & OS Software and able to build a deep knowledge of and use our client’s products
- Request photo retouching for all lifestyle photos to be featured
- Route loose Cross Functional imagery for approval
- Fulfil image requests from various functional teams
- Communicate with Worldwide Image Producers for WW requests as required, project information and transferring of assets
- Work with Business Affairs to utilize 3rd party assets relevant to the Greater China markets
- Work with WW Digital Asset Managers to transfer launch assets to long-term Digital Asset system
- Manage Geo asset database and maintain and organize an archive of previous jobs
- Learn and understand the nuances of different languages and be able to identify what content requires localization and convert it to a brief for the Content Studio and graphic production team
- Plan, manage, and track the content localization of assets throughout the production process and agency studio to ensure on-time delivery
- Manage the staging and organization of final assets on servers including clear handoff matrices for functional teams
- QC final deliverables and communicate edits and final asset delivery
Requirements:
- A minimum of 6 years’ experience in graphic production/ photo producing and project management at a design firm, ad agency or interactive shop.
- Flexible, creative, tech-savvy, solution-oriented individual with experience using Adobe Creative Suite’s Photoshop.
- Proficiency in iOS and Mac OS software is a must.
- Knowledge of image and production-specific needs for image reproduction, including website builds, POS, Motion Graphics and email marketing.
- Accuracy, excellent memory, an eye for detail, logical thinking, keeping secrets confidential, and good communication skills for connecting with different parties.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding, creative, and production environment. Flexibility is crucial to this role, as well as working beyond the 8:00-20:00 framework and occasionally on weekends.
- Excellent English and Basic written Traditional & Simplified Chinese, and verbal skills are prerequisites.
- Understanding of Greater China markets.
