About The Role
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and self-reliant E-commerce Marketplace Specialist to manage and grow our presence across UK and European marketplaces. This is a hands-on role focused on listings, compliance, advertising and performance optimisation, with an emphasis on driving measurable commercial results.
Responsibilities
- Marketplace Listing Management: Create, optimise, and manage product listings across Amazon, eBay, Shopify, and Mirakl.
- Localization & International Expansion: Localise listings for European markets (DE, FR, IT, ES, NL, BE, SE) using translation tools/AI, ensuring accuracy and commercial relevance.
- Compliance & Regulatory Management: Ensure all listings meet marketplace compliance requirements, including product safety, hazardous goods regulations, and VAT/tax obligations.
- Regulatory Documentation & Product Compliance: Manage and maintain accurate documentation for regulated products (e.g. SDS, CLP, labelling requirements).
- Advertising & PPC Optimization: Partner with the team to scale PPC campaigns, optimizing performance to drive sales and maximize ROI.
- Pricing & Promotions Strategy: Manage pricing, promotions, and offers across multiple regions to remain competitive.
- Performance Monitoring & Data Analysis: Monitor marketplace performance and implement data-driven improvements.
- Issue Resolution & Account Management: Identify and resolve listing, compliance, or account issues independently.
Competencies And Qualifications
Must-Have
- Proven experience managing multi-channel e-commerce across Amazon, eBay, Shopify, and Mirakl
- Experience managing consumer products on Amazon
- Experience across UK and European marketplaces, including localisation of listings
- Ability to use translation software/AI tools to create and adapt listings for different European markets
- Strong understanding of marketplace compliance, VAT considerations, and product data standards
- Highly self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Nice-to-Have
- Experience managing Mirakl
- Experience working with DIY products and hazardous goods, including knowledge of relevant regulations (e.g. CLP, SDS, labelling, transport restrictions)
- Hands-on experience with PPC advertising and promotional tools
