Education Product Specialist

About this Role

We’re seeking a Product Localization Specialist to support the localization of our education products for US market, ensuring they resonate with local users while maintaining core product integrity. You’ll act as the bridge between HQ product/R&D teams and regional business teams (operations), coordinating regional needs into actionable updates. Your expertise in cultural adaptation, and product localization will directly impact our global expansion.

Key Responsibilities

Localization Coordination & Delivery

  • Execute the localization pipeline—string extraction, translation, LQA, and release coordination- for multi-language courseware, assessments, and UI.

User & Cultural Insight

  • Conduct market-specific research and usability studies to identify culture-driven friction points, documenting findings for product teams.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Facilitate twice-weekly stand-ups with product, engineering, and regional ops to track progress on localization tickets.

Sales & Operations Support

  • Assist in building playbooks, demo scripts, to help sales and customer-success teams leverage localized features.

Governance & Scale

  • Maintain a globalization decision log to track regional requirements against product coherence.

Qualifications

Must-Have:

  • 2+ years in a product-localization or cross-cultural role.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience collaborating with global teams.
  • Background in UX localization or multilingual adaptation.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin (written/spoken).

Nice-to-Have:

  • EdTech or online learning experience.
  • Familiar with US K-12 education market.
