About

We’re looking for a talented and experienced Engineering Manager to join our Product Engineering organization and play a key role in taking our platform and product to the next level.

This opportunity involves leading a team within our Translations domain, which plays a central role in enabling high-quality, scalable localization for our customers. While the broader domain focuses on redefining translation as an AI-enhanced, measurable process, this team is specifically focused on integrating the translation service across our product, ensuring context-aware delivery.

This role is ideal for someone who’s excited to work at the intersection of language, AI, and product, and who enjoys driving scalable, complex technical solutions that deliver meaningful value to users.

You Will

  • Lead one cross-functional squad (5–9 Software Engineers), fostering a high-performing team environment while staying technically sharp, by actively contributing to architectural and system design decisions, challenging assumptions, asking the right questions, and stepping in when needed to support the team (even if not coding day to day).
  • Be a people-first leader and multiplier — coaching engineers, supporting their career growth, conducting performance evaluations, and contributing to compensation planning.
  • Drive hiring efforts by interviewing and selecting talented engineers who raise the bar for the team.
  • Collaborate closely with Tech Leads, Product Managers, and Designers (the Product Triad) to ensure strong team execution and alignment with product goals.
  • Partner with Product Management on planning, prioritization, and roadmap development — bringing visibility into effort estimates, risks, and technical dependencies.
  • Champion Operational Excellence by promoting best practices in software development, driving repeatable and scalable solutions, and participating in on-call processes as Incident Commander when needed.
  • Contribute to department-wide planning in partnership with Engineering Leadership, helping shape strategy and growth initiatives across the org.
  • Own your teams’ successful delivery by creating quarterly plans and tracking execution against the Product Roadmap.

You Must Have

  • Recent 3+ years of experience in an Engineering Management role, preferably in SaaS products and high-growth or startup environments.
  • Solid and diverse background as a software engineer/developer, to ensure a profound understanding of technical intricacies and effectively lead and guide engineering teams.
  • A proven track record of managing cross-functional teams, hiring, onboarding, and professional development.
  • A knack for teamwork and the ability to create and maintain a positive team culture.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of Agile processes and principles.
  • Proven management ability, including strong communication (excellent English) and prioritization skills.
  • Experience in planning and executing complex multi-team products, creating teams, and overseeing execution to meet commitments and deliver with predictability.
  • Experience in implementing tools, processes, internal instrumentation, methodologies, and resolving blockages.

  • Experience in a product company during a scale-up phase
