The Fitness Content Reviewer is a freelance role. This role primarily involves the localization and translation of fitness-related content. We are looking to collaborate with translators who have experience in the fitness field or bilingual fitness instructors. Key Responsibilities:
• Review and edit fitness-related content (e.g., articles, reports) in Japanese.
• Ensure the accurate use of fitness terminology and adherence to industry standards.
• Refine machine-translated fitness texts for linguistic accuracy and natural fluency.
• Adapt sensitive fitness-related content to suit cultural and ethical considerations.
• Ensure compliance with fitness publication best practices in the Japanese market.
• Communicate effectively in English for task coordination and feedback discussions.
Requirements:
• Japanese speaker with strong English proficiency (both written and spoken).
• Proven experience in reviewing fitness-related content.
• Familiarity with fitness-related terminology.
• Experience in editing/post-editing machine-translated fitness texts.
• Deep understanding of cultural and ethical nuances in fitness communication.
• Knowledge of fitness publication standards in Japan.
