Role Description The French+Italian Language Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Manila. This role involves creating, reviewing, and localizing learning content in French and Italian, ensuring linguistic accuracy, cultural relevance, and clarity for learners. The specialist will assist in translating and adapting dialogue scripts, prompts, and exercises, and collaborate with product and AI teams to refine language models and user interactions. Daily tasks include editing and updating existing content, providing feedback on AI-generated responses, and supporting quality assurance for language services. The role may also involve occasional coordination with customer support and training teams to address language-related queries and improvements.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in French and Italian, with excellent Communication and Writing skills.
- Demonstrated experience in Translation and interpreting within educational, media, or language services contexts.
- Background in Language Services, including content review, localization, or curriculum development.
- Attention to detail and ability to ensure high linguistic and cultural accuracy across materials.
- Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Translation, Languages, Education, or a related field preferred.
- Comfort working with technology-driven products; experience with AI language tools is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Manila and collaborate effectively in a diverse, cross-functional team.
- Prior experience in language teaching, language coaching, or e-learning platforms is a plus.
