Global Digital PR – Kirin Brewery

About the Role

Kirin Brewery’s global business is accelerating! As our international presence expands, we are looking for a proactive bilingual professional to drive our global digital PR and social media operations. Working closely with our Overseas PR Lead, you will take ownership of our global social media channels while supporting broader PR and communication initiatives across multiple markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Social Media Management: Autonomously manage and coordinate global social media accounts (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X) based on our overarching PR strategy.
  • Agency Collaboration: Partner with external agencies on content creation, campaigns, and creative deliverables.
  • Content Localization & Compliance: Adapt agency content for global audiences while ensuring strict alignment with brand messaging, legal guidelines, and responsible marketing standards.
  • Website & Communications Support: Assist with cross-brand website updates, ensure message consistency, and provide English/Japanese translation and localization for internal reporting.
  • Future Growth: Opportunity to expand into global strategy, media initiatives, and overseas product launches.

Required Qualifications (MUST)

  • Digital Communications: Experience managing or supporting social media and digital communications.
  • Bilingual: Fluent in English and Japanese (Note: Business-level Japanese is strictly required for internal coordination and documentation).
  • Project Management: Proven ability to drive brand initiatives and build consensus across multiple departments.
  • Corporate & Compliance: Experience in a listed Japanese company (or equivalent) with a strong understanding of internal brand, legal, and compliance approval processes.

Conditions & Perks

  • Salary: ¥7,000,000 – ¥10,500,000 JPY (based on experience).
  • Location: Nakano, Tokyo. (Note: Role includes potential future reassignment/relocation within the group).
  • Work Style: Flextime system (no core hours) with remote work/telecommuting options.
  • Time Off: 123 annual days off (Weekends + National Holidays), plus up to 20 days of Paid Time Off (granted upon joining).
