As a Linguistic/Localization quality intern, you will be closely working with internal teams for all the quality aspects of the localization process. You will coordinate with various internal and external teams to deliver quality files to the client.
Selected team member’s day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Checking to see if files meet project specifications before delivery
2. Preparing pre-delivery checklists, reports for every project
3. Using industry-specific review and QA tools on files
4. Analyze and assess individual projects in terms of quality.
5. Reviewing and evaluating to determine if the project conforms to the established
quality guidelines and standards.
6. Proofreading and editing (Tool and manual Review)
7. Coordination with other teams in-house.
8. Perform linguistic (English) as well as a non-linguistic quality check. (All
languages).
You will spend all your time checking files for mistakes, flagging errors, making reports, and checking boxes. You need to have the ability to spot mistakes other people have missed and set up processes to ensure they aren’t repeated.
Qualifications:
1. Excellent written/spoken English. Knowing 2 other languages is preferred
2. Any graduate or post-graduate
3. 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience
4. Works well under pressure and tight deadlines
5. Great interpersonal skills
6. Ability to multitask
7. Punctual and flexible
8. Excel/google sheets
9. Any CAT tool training will be provided for the same
