Position Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager who can independently handle small-scale localization projects and support senior team members on larger, more complex ones. The ideal candidate is curious, motivated, and thrives in fast-paced environments where innovation and structure go hand in hand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Senior Project Managers in the execution of larger projects, including rush jobs and client-specific pilot translations.
  • Coordinate internal resources and freelancers, manage file workflows, and maintain project-specific glossaries.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their expectations and feedback are clearly understood and addressed.
  • Follow up on project milestones, identify risks early, and propose actionable solutions.
  • Prepare retrospective reports and status updates upon request.
  • Ensure adherence to budget constraints and actively contribute to cost control.
  • Contribute to improving internal project management processes and quality standards.
  • Occasionally assist with basic DTP tasks (e.g., file formatting or reviewing visual layouts) — experience with Adobe tools is a plus.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in localization or project coordination
  • Strong command of English (C1); additional languages such as German or French are a plus
  • Knowledge of CAT tools such as SDL Trados, memoQ, and Smartling
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of Adobe Indesign
  • Excellent time management, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute in a rapidly evolving company environment
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Nice to Have:

  • Previous exposure to basic DTP or layout tasks
  • Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign or similar tools
