Overview:
As a Linguist, you will play a crucial role in bridging communication between different language markets, ensuring accurate translation and localization of technical, financial, and crypto-related content. Your expertise will help us connect with global users, maintain clear and precise messaging, and facilitate seamless internal and external communication.
This role is ideal for someone with a passion for blockchain technology, DeFi, and trading, and who understands industry-specific terminology and nuances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate and localize documents, reports, research papers, website content, marketing materials, and legal/compliance documents between English and Indonesian while ensuring industry accuracy and cultural adaptation.
- Ensure all translations maintain clarity, accuracy, and consistency, particularly for complex crypto and financial terminology.
- tay up to date with developments in the cryptocurrency and financial sectors to ensure the accuracy of translated materials.
- Assist with cross-border business discussions, investor relations, and partnerships by providing real-time translation and interpretation when needed.
- Help the company penetrate new markets by ensuring content resonates with local audiences while maintaining the brand’s voice.
Requirements:
- Strong command of both English and Indonesian, with excellent skills in written and verbal translation and interpretation.
- Proficiency in Chinese is a significant advantage.
- Strong knowledge of cryptocurrency, blockchain, and trading terminology (or a willingness to learn quickly).
- Experience in financial services, crypto, fintech, or trading firms is strongly preferred.
- Ability to accurately translate complex technical and financial concepts in a clear, concise, and culturally appropriate way.
- Familiarity with compliance, regulatory, and legal documents in the crypto space is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
