Although this company was founded in 1976 it has transformed how we connect and communicate worldwide.
Our Customer is seeking a Localization Producer on a contract basis to help support our Customer’s business needs. This role is a hybrid setup (3 days onsite and 2 days remote/week) in Culver City, CA.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for producing localized featured content (editorial copy and artwork) with limited supervision.
- Work closely with vendors, editorial staff, business teams, and other producers to define expectations and ensure that project localization is on track, relevant to the audience, and represents the company’s voice in the marketplace.
- Manages the input of localized data into multiple internal systems without error and manages the QA and troubleshooting of the copy’s behavior in all relevant platforms and markets.
Qualifications
- Experience in localization and/or project management
- Excellent project manager, collaborator, and strong negotiator
- Excellent English communication skills
- Flexibility and the ability to wisely prioritize tasks in complex situations
- Native-level expertise in at least one language in addition to English preferred
- Experience in methods of automating workflow a plus
- Tech savvy and able to pick up on new tools and processes swiftly
