Title: Localization Program Manager

Project Overview
Languages are key to our mission of bringing the world closer together. The client family of products is currently available in 100+ languages, and we are adding many more. Over 70% of people use our products in a language other than English, and ~90% are outside of North America. As a Localization Program Manager, you will partner with product and the rest of internationalization teams to empower client products to feel local at a global scale.
Overall Responsibilities:
- Engage and build relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders (Product, Engineering, Marketing, etc.) to launch successful localized products
- Design and implement efficient and scalable end-to-end localization frameworks tailored to various products and diverse content types across the client company
- Guide stakeholders across the client company to ensure localization best practices are followed and drive efficient execution
- Proactively identify and streamline technical and process issues that affect localized product relevancy, quality, and functionality
- Actively seek out opportunities to optimize the international user experience and influence adoptions of optimal solutions
- Partner across internationalization to ensure the right resources are in place and all deliveries are completed at the expected standards
Mandatory Skills
- 3+ years of experience in localization program or project management
- BA/BS or equivalent work experience in localization/internationalization project or program management
- Experience communicating across and driving results among a variety of cross-functional stakeholders, working across time zones and international offices
- Experience in identifying and driving forward work in ambiguous environment
- Experience analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to inform business decisions
- Skilled in building and optimizing complex workflows
- Track record of staying focused, prioritizing and creating structure across large, ambiguous programs and setting goals for long-term initiatives
Nice to Have Skills
- Knowledge of additional languages other than English
- Exposure to SQL, analytics tools, or a coding language
- Thorough understanding of translation technologies like translation memories, machine translation, and CAT tools
- Familiarity with internationalization standards such as Unicode and CLDR
- Experience working with localization vendors
- Knowledge of AI technologies and potential application in localization workflows
Compensation:
The estimated pay range for this position is USD $45.00/Hr – USD $55.00/Hr.
Exact compensation and offers of employment are dependent on circumstances of each case and will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, licenses or certifications, and location.
