Mother Tongue is a language services agency, with offices in London (UK), Los Angeles and San Francisco (USA) and Singapore. We specialize in the creative translation of advertising and marketing copy, and related insight and content services for global brands. We are part of Omnicom, one of the world’s largest marketing services group. We are currently hiring localization project managers to work remotely in the Philippines.
Job description
The focus of this role is managing language-related projects – not just translation and transcreation, but also content creation, voiceovers, subtitling, production, machine learning data curation and more. This entails quoting for work, briefing suppliers, ensuring timely delivery, and dealing with any queries along the way. You will be working on key accounts, and will need to build and manage relationships both with clients and suppliers around the world. You will need to follow complex processes and ways of working – you should look for opportunities to improve these processes, and contribute to managing the account.

Necessary
- Fluency in English.
- Great communication skills (by phone/VC and in writing).
- Experience of remote working, with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in this setting.
- Familiarity with modern office software.
Desirable
- University degree in languages or a related subject.
- Experience of localization project management, including working with CAT tools/TMS systems
- An interest in technology, and an informed perspective on the future direction of the language industry.
Working arrangements
This will be a remote role. We are looking for people to cover two shift patterns: 6 am–3 pm Philippine Standard Time, and 1 pm–10 pm Philippine Standard Time. You will be provided with a laptop to conduct company business.
