Localization Vendor Manager

Experience: 3 to 5 Years (Mandatory in translation/localization industry)

Location: Hyderabad

Notice Period: Immediate

Role Overview:

This role involves recruiting and managing freelance translators, interpreters, trans-creators, content writers, voice-over talents, DTP specialists, and other localization providers. You will design and implement procedures for onboarding, testing, quality assurance, and vendor performance tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and manage the supplier database
  • Define and implement testing procedures
  • Source specialized vendors based on production needs
  • Forecast and manage vendor demand
  • Track and evaluate vendor performance and KPIs
  • Negotiate rates and contracts
  • Coordinate with accounts on invoicing and payments
  • Conduct vendor surveys and performance analysis
  • Ensure up-to-date documentation and vendor records
  • Act as a point of escalation
  • Foster vendor partnerships with a focus on quality and cost-effectiveness
  • Stay updated with industry trends and connect with local organizations/universities for talent sourcing

Requirements:

  • 3+ years in vendor management within the translation/localization domain
  • Excellent English communication (written and verbal)
  • A second language is an advantage
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and time management skills
