Position Details
- Language: Portuguese (must be able to speak, read, and write fluently)
- Pay Rate: $15.00 – $17.00 per hour (Volga Partners complies with all state and city minimum wage laws)
- Hours: Full-time | Monday–Friday | 8 AM – 5 PM PST or 9 AM – 6 PM PST (dependent on department’s needs)
- Work Authorization: Must have valid authorization to work in the U.S.
- Background Check: Required for this role
- Equipment: Must have a personal laptop or computer
Responsibilities:
- Label and categorize text and images with high accuracy and quality
- Manage and evaluate language-based data on a universal platform
- Analyze trends and extract insights to improve project quality
- Proofread and ensure the accuracy of all outputs
- Recommend process improvements to boost data relevance and performance
- Collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, shifting environment
Qualifications:
- Full professional fluency in English and Portuguese (spoken and written)
- Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills
- High attention to detail for maintaining data accuracy
- Effective time management and multitasking ability
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable using digital platforms and tools
- Adaptable and team-oriented mindset
Preferred (Not Required):
- Experience in data analysis, AI training, quality assurance, or linguistics
- Background in language research, localization, or content moderation
- Prior experience with data labeling or annotation projects
W2 Hourly $15-$17 (include benefits for full time, when applicable).
