Job Description:

Our client is a global provider of localization, translation, and content services, this company helps businesses adapt their products, services, and content for international markets. Their offerings include translation, software localization, transcreation, multimedia services, and content management. With a focus on quality, innovation, and customer collaboration, they support brands in delivering impactful, culturally relevant experiences to a global audience.

Remote / US – LATAM / Working Hours: until 5pm PST ideally.

Summary: The Localization Project Manager will be involved in all aspects of interfacing with customers including planning, scheduling and costing projects, establishing processes, defining and monitoring quality control measures, and managing a virtual team of language resources.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that the client receives superior project management and customer service at all times
  • Delivering all projects on time and within budget in accordance with client requirements and quality control specifications
  • Preparing proposals, quotations, and invoices
  • Tracking and controlling all costs throughout the entire lifecycle of a project
  • Status reporting customized to clients’ needs
  • Quality control and feedback management
  • Provision of business intelligence, quality & productivity metrics customized to clients’ needs
  • Running project kick-offs and post-project analysis initiatives
  • Hosting conference calls between linguists and reviewers
  • Working with the client, reviewers, stakeholders, and linguists on quality initiatives
  • Troubleshooting and helping to set standards and processes; continually making recommendations to improve processes and maximize efficiencies
  • Central handling of queries and support requests
  • Capacity planning for internal & external resources
  • Interacting with linguistic resources and digital marketing specialists and third party stakeholders
  • On-boarding and training new resources and measuring their performance

Requirements:

    5 Years localization project management experienceExperience working with Multimedia​projects, partners etcDegree in Translation, Business Administration or relevant fieldExcellent financial, communication, interpersonal and organization skillsMust be able to demonstrate strong leadership, problem solving abilities, and organization skills to meet tight deadlines and complex project scenarios.Knowledge of standard CAT packages (Trados, SDLX, XTM, etc)Fluent in English (any other language an asset)
