Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer – Arabic Native Speaker

Role Overview:

We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented QA Engineer who is a native Arabic speaker, to join our quality assurance team. This role will play a key part in testing bilingual (Arabic/English) web and mobile applications, ensuring language accuracy, cultural relevance, functionality, and overall product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute test cases for web and mobile applications in both Arabic and English.
  • Perform functional, regression, localization, usability, and accessibility testing.
  • Validate Arabic content, ensuring linguistic accuracy, cultural alignment, and proper layout rendering across devices.
  • Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or similar.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using tools such as JIRA or TestRail.
  • Work closely with product managers, developers, and UX/UI teams to ensure test coverage and timely releases.
  • Contribute to test plans, automation scripts (if applicable), and QA documentation.
  • Participate in UAT cycles and ensure all Arabic-language modules meet user expectations.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Native-level proficiency in Arabic (written and spoken).
  • 3–6 years of experience in software testing, preferably in bilingual (Arabic/English) applications.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and testing methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with manual testing and familiarity with automation tools is a plus.
  • Experience with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in cross-functional environments.

Good to Have:

  • Exposure to healthcare, eGovernment, or financial services domains.
  • Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) for automation testing.
  • Understanding of WCAG standards and accessibility testing.
  • Prior experience working with Agile / Scrum teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • ISTQB Certification or equivalent is a plus.
