Position Overview

TransExpert is seeking a dynamic and motivated Account Manager to lead client account development and sales penetration strategies across assigned customers and regions. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, a client-centric approach, and a proven ability to generate new business while maintaining and nurturing existing relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of key client accounts, ensuring consistent satisfaction and retention.
  • Establish and maintain strong, productive relationships with clients, understanding and addressing their needs effectively.
  • Conduct research to personalise outreach and enhance communication with both existing and prospective clients.
  • Drive business development by proactively identifying, approaching, and securing new clients.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients and internal departments, ensuring seamless communication and service delivery.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to client queries, including those that arise outside regular working hours.
  • Strategise and execute initiatives for client retention and business growth.
  • Meet and exceed assigned sales targets, contributing to the overall success of the sales department.
  • Provide regular updates and detailed reports to the Director and relevant stakeholders.
  • Input and manage data within the company’s CRM and sales software.
  • Support in the preparation of proposals, quotations, and responses to RFPs.
  • Be available for occasional travel for meetings or other work-related purposes.
  • Take full ownership of tasks assigned by the Director related to sales and client management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Sales, Account Management, or Client Services.
  • Strong understanding of sales performance metrics and strategies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, innovative, and results-driven with the ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to go the extra mile, including availability outside of regular hours when needed, to ensure client satisfaction and business success.
  • Note: Availability is key to this role. Clients may occasionally reach out beyond standard working hours, and we expect our Account Manager to be responsive and committed to securing business and delivering exceptional service.
