Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Spanish to English Medical Interpreter – VRI (Video Remote Interpreting). The Medical Interpreter will conduct interpretation services for medical consultations, ensuring accurate communication between Spanish-speaking patients and English-speaking healthcare providers. Daily tasks will include simultaneous interpretation during medical appointments, documentation translation, and usage of medical terminology to ensure clarity and understanding.
Qualifications
- Medical Interpretation and Interpreting skills
- Translation and Simultaneous Interpretation skills
- Strong knowledge of Medical Terminology
- Excellent Spanish to English language proficiency
- Exceptional listening and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Certification in medical interpretation is a plus
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is beneficial
