We’re seeking a localization leader to spearhead our digital supply chain transformation and global localization initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of content strategy, technological innovation, and operational excellence, helping shape how we deliver digital experiences to audiences worldwide. This individual will own critical inputs to operationalizing global localization initiatives, with a passion to innovate, and tackle complex problems. As a Sr. Digital Program Manager – Localization, you will be responsible for owning programs that drive innovation and efficiency to enhance the global customer experience; driving across cross-function teams, defining and distributing new workflows, and partner with product and technology teams to define business requirements. The successful candidate should have prior localization and content management experience.
Key job responsibilities
- Drive strategic expansion of our localization operations across multiple territories, optimizing our content selection framework and adaptation processes
- Architect and implement industry-leading digital supply chain solutions, leveraging AI/ML, automation, and cloud technologies to streamline content workflows
- Lead the evaluation and selection of titles for localization, balancing market demand, cultural relevance, and ROI potential
- Partner with engineering teams to develop proprietary tools and systems that enhance our localization capabilities and content delivery infrastructure
- Build and manage relationships with key technology vendors, localization partners, and internal stakeholders across product, content, and business teams
- Identify and investigate data to isolate issues, develop solutions, and prioritize opportunities for servicing partner teams
- Have a passion for continuously improving the customer experience
- Be a creative problem solver who always thinks critically about next steps

Basic Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience working with large global organizations as a Digital Supply Chain Manager, or similar roles such as Program Manager, Localization Operations Manager, etc.
- Deep technical ability, familiarity with industry localization standards, specifications, and delivery formats with the capacity to acquire new technology concepts quickly
- Knowledge and familiarity with DAM (digital asset management) systems and familiar with digital video file formats including but not limited to the following: digital master files, Mezz (Mezzanine) files, timed text, audio dubs, and compressed deliverables
- Experience delivering programs of medium to high complexity with minimal supervision
- Experience managing, analyzing, presenting, and communicating relevant results to senior management
- Bachelors degree or equivalent (or 6+ years of related professional experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams and in the digital supply chain
- Deep understanding and familiarity of componentized based packages such as MDDF (MovieLabs Digital Distribution Framework), including identification of content using EIDR (Entertainment ID Registry), delivery of content metadata using MEC (Media Entertainment Core Metadata) and MMC (Media Manifest Core), and delivery of availability metadata using EMA Avails
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, design, and legal/business counterparts to operationalize global technologies
- Be a collaborative leader, capable of driving internal, studio and vendor executives to consensus while balancing product/technology needs with longer term relationships
- Advanced ability to draw insights from data and clearly communicate them (verbal/written) to the stakeholders and executives as required
- Be self-driven, and show ability to deliver on ambiguous projects with incomplete or imperfect data
- Able to think creatively, deal with ambiguity, and effectively manage changing and competing priorities
- Impactful verbal and written communication skills with diverse audiences

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $245,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
