This position works with Transcreation, Cultural Consultation, Copywriting and Voiceover workstreams, requiring high levels of organization, the ability to run multiple projects and language pairs simultaneously, proactive quality ownership, creative and critical thinking and confident communication.
You possess in-depth knowledge of project lifecycle from brief to delivery (including but not limited to quoting, briefing vendors, assigning tasks, performing quality checks/delivering/actioning feedback and amends requests/issuing POs, reporting project information and financials), with additional understanding of cross-functional collaboration and production elements that take part in the adaptation process.
You will be ensuring seamless delivery of locally relevant, on-brand copy in multiple languages, while also helping us build team-wide solutions.
You are familiar and experienced with language industry best-practices regarding translation management systems, translation memories, terminology management, vendor management and have a particular interest in AI and automation.
Ultimately, the role requires strong project management skills, creativity, initiative, confident ownership, and commitment to deliver quality at scale in a dynamic and collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Owning day-to-day transcreation, cultural consultation, copywriting and VO projects, coordinating and managing delivery of multiple projects for different markets
- Receiving and actioning briefs, defining costs, timings, and allocating tasks accordingly
- Accountable for project budget, status, and reporting on these as required
- Developing and maintaining flourishing internal and client relationships
- Proactively supporting and participating in our L&C roadmap for solutions and actions
- Recruiting and onboarding for our database of worldwide talent
- Admin-related tasks such as updating trackers / managing POs and invoices from linguists
Essential
- +3 years of experience in Translation/Transcreation/VO Project Management
- Hands-on knowledge of language services workflows and best practice
- Experience with localisation of marketing campaigns for multiple countries, media and channels
- Sharp, precise communication skills
- Well organised, ability to multitask, attention to detail
DESIRED
- Up to date / interest on recent AI developments in the fields of translation / copywriting / VO
- CAT tools / Project management software
- Knowledge of additional languages
- Working awareness of digital production processes
