Internship Overview:
We are looking for a motivated Translation Technology Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience in translation technologies, natural language processing (NLP), and linguistic engineering. The selected intern will assist in developing language models, optimizing workflows, and working with industry-standard tools such as CAT tools, MT tools, and NLP technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and optimizing linguistic models and translation workflows.
- Support the implementation of NLP algorithms and language processing tools.
- Work with CAT tools, Machine Translation (MT) tools, Generative AI tools, and Quality Control (QC) tools.
- Collaborate with translators and linguists to ensure the accuracy and quality of language services.
- Conduct research on the latest trends in computational linguistics and translation technologies.
- Provide technical assistance and documentation for linguistic tools and processes.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Master’s program in Translation Technology, Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, or a related field.
- Experience with CAT tools, MT tools, and NLP technologies (academic or professional).
- Strong interest in NLP, language technology, and translation workflows.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of French or another language is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of Python or Java is a plus.
