We are looking for an experienced Translator to join our team. This role is focused on the rapid review, post-editing, and optimization of machine-translated content, primarily from Turkish to English (and occasionally from English to Turkish). If you are detail-oriented, linguistically strong, fast at catching AI errors, and committed to delivering high-quality localized text, this position could be a great fit.
What you’ll do
- Perform rapid post-editing and quality checks on machine-translated documents, emails, and written materials (primarily from Turkish to English, and as needed from English to Turkish).
- Quickly identify and correct AI/machine translation errors, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and proper tone.
- Optimize and polish translated texts for maximum fluency and readability under tight deadlines.
- Maintain terminology, style guides, and language records organized and up to date.
- Collaborate with internal teams to clarify context, meaning, and specific terminology requirements.
- Manage daily translation/post-editing tasks efficiently.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, English Language, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in translation, localization, or MTPE (Machine Translation Post-Editing).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Turkish, supported by strong proofreading, and editing skills.
- A sharp eye for detail and a strong ability to quickly spot, analyze, and correct AI hallucinations, unnatural phrasing, and context mismatches under pressure.
- Ability to adapt tone and style depending on the context, maintaining high productivity and fluency without sacrificing accuracy or quality.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently as well as collaborate smoothly with internal teams.
