Vendor Quality Specialist – Localization & Linguistics

We are seeking a Vendor Quality Specialist to join one of the world’s best-known tech giants. This role plays a critical part in shaping the quality of localized content delivered to global audiences, ensuring it is linguistically accurate, culturally relevant, and aligned with rigorous quality standards.
The Offer:
- Competitive salary range of £50,000 – £55,000 pa
- Fully remote working within the UK
- Role will start on an initial 6-month contract
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage localization quality processes across multiple vendors with a focus on consistency and compliance.
- Act as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and external localization vendors.
- Monitor translation feedback loops, perform quality assessments, and oversee translation queries and issue resolution.
- Support recruiting, testing, onboarding, and training of new linguistic resources.
- Maintain linguistic assets such as terminology databases and style guides.
- Execute and report on LQA (Linguistic Quality Assurance) processes, including root cause analysis and arbitration flows.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in localization project or quality management, ideally within vendor-side operations.
- Solid expertise with localization tools (e.g. SDL Trados Studio, WorldServer) and CAT/TMS platforms.
- Strong command of localization best practices, with an eye for quality and operational excellence.
- Proven ability to thrive amid ambiguity and manage cross-functional, multicultural communications.
- A background in translation, linguistics, or a related field (BA/BS minimum).

- Familiarity with global digital products and platforms.
- Fluency in additional languages beyond English.
- Exposure to managing multilingual content across culturally diverse regions.
