Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a VRI Medical Interpreter (Spanish to English). The Medical Interpreter will be responsible for providing real-time, simultaneous interpretation for medical consultations and procedures between Spanish and English. They will accurately interpret medical information, terminology, and patient interactions to ensure effective communication between healthcare providers and patients. The interpreter will also handle translation of medical documents and materials as needed.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Medical Interpretation and Interpreting skills
- Strong knowledge of Translation, Training in medical terminology
- Experience in Simultaneous Interpretation
- Excellent verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Relevant certification in Medical Interpretation is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field is beneficial
