Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a VRI/OPI Polish to English Medical Interpreter. The interpreter will be responsible for providing video remote interpretation (VRI) and over-the-phone interpretation (OPI) between Polish and English in medical settings. Daily tasks include interpreting medical terminology accurately and facilitating communication between healthcare providers and patients. The interpreter must ensure clear and effective communication in medical consultations, emergencies, and other healthcare scenarios requiring language interpretation.
Qualifications
- Medical Interpretation and Simultaneous Interpretation skills
- Proficiency in Medical Terminology
- Translation and Interpreting skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills in Polish and English
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Certification in medical interpretation is a plus
- Experience in the healthcare industry is advantageous
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
