I’ve documented my whole journey with Ailaysa from the first home page visit, through creating a project, to downloading a translated file in Czech.

What’s up everyone? Hi, this is Andrej. Welcome to today’s stream. What we’re going to be doing in this stream is that I’m going to try a new TMS that I had never heard of before. You’ve probably seen it in the thumbnail. It’s called Ailaysa, I believe, I’m not sure if I’m even reading it, right. So we are live. So that means you guys can send me some comments. And I’m not sure if we have anyone from the team. We have anyone from the team of Ailaysa. And maybe you can tell me how it should be pronounced correctly, and how you actually came up with the name. But for those of you, for the rest of you, who have not seen this type of content before I tried, how many do I even have here, I tried probably around, I don’t know 20-23, 23 different TMS platform before. And the whole idea is that I’m just going to show you how someone could experience a certain TMS for the first time. So that means that what I’m going to do is I’m going to first have a look at the homepage, see what I like, what I don’t like, and I’m going to sign up for an account. We’re going to try to create a project and I’m going to try to translate very simple Office files, either a Word document or a spreadsheet. I think that’s what I used to do. And then hopefully, we’re going to download it and wrap up with that. So as as I go through this first experience, I’m going to try to provide you commentary on what I think is working for me and what I don’t like. So in a way, for the company, hopefully it’s helpful in a way to see how people interact with their TMS and what they might think. So I don’t want to be talking too much, because that’s not important. So I think let’s get right into it. I have my tablet ready here if I need to show something. So let’s go Ailaysa; Ailaysa. Yes. So after I saw it is like this is AI, translation and human anything. I thought it okay, it’s AI-laysa. But then because the I is lowercase. To me, it really looks like a like a female name. So AI translation and human editing. I guess it’s pretty clear what the, I don’t know, the focus is; it’s pretty straightforward. And translation human any fast, simple and affordable machine translation post editing platform. So it looks like they’re mostly focusing on MTPE, which I think in a way, it’s good maybe if you’re starting out, because you want to focus focus on something small and maybe an X that something small before you create something big like I don’t know, Memsource or props. So here we are on the homepage, I have to say that I when the team reached out to me, so another thing is that the team has reached out to me, I forgot your name. Sorry. The team reached out to me through LinkedIn. And they asked me if I would do this. And I said, why not? Because I used to do this before and I like doing this kind of stuff. And it’s more content, so why not? So I have seen I’ve scrolled through the homepage before. But this time I’m going to try to let’s say I don’t know be a little bit more, they call it, dissected. So we’re going to look at each section carefully. And hopefully I’m going to provide some useful comments. So one thing that I remember is definitely this: it’s not even the gradient. I don’t even know how it’s called it looks like it’s like, I’m not sure if you have ever used the MS Paint looks like the paintbrush that spray thing. I have I have to say that I have haven’t seen it in a long time almost anywhere in website. But I think it looks pretty good at least in in this section. Okay, so anyway, so let’s start with the with the with the header section. So AI the logo I think looks looks nice. It’s very simple, which is good for the company. Ailaysa is fine. Here we have what, okay, so we just have the main links, there’s no drop down menu,

it changes to the blue, that’s fine. Login, I think this is slightly bigger font, sign up, it’s free. I think that’s also good that it’s not just the signup button. But it also says that it’s free. I guess that might help with conversion rates. So for header, not much to say pretty much standard but a good standard. Now let’s move on to the main thing, which is the hero section. So here we have create multilingual content

I think I think I shouldn’t be trying to comment too much on the on the copywriting because I’m not a copywriter create multilingual content. To me, it’s straightforward. So I guess I know what to expect. I’ve also seen this styling somewhere that you highlight, I don’t know the important key word in the main color. So obviously we know that their main color is blue, create multilingual content. But to me it doesn’t. It’s not nothing special about it. Just like create multilingual content and Okay, so what, but maybe the subhead would be more exciting AI powered translation platform that takes your business to every country on the planet. Right. So again, I’m not a copywriter, so it is with a grain of salt, but to me, take your business to every country on the planet. I really like that part to me that that is something that is more exciting than creating multilingual content. Start a project now free. Okay, we have a slight color change on the hover, I think that all looks fine. What about the hero picture, the hero image? So here, this gives me an idea that you can translate text? Is this supposed to be audio, video and some documents, which I think is good, because that’s what we want to be doing. Now, when it comes to the hero image itself, it looks like this is it. I wanted to say that my first thought was that this may be a screenshot from the platform. But obviously, I think it’s not because in a way, and this actually might be a little bit confusing, at least to me, because this thing here kind of looks like it’s another homepage has the you know, the text on the left side and the hero image on the right side. Maybe it’s because the because of the framing. So it really looks like a I don’t know, like a like a website like the text is not just floating on the on the actual homepage. I’m not sure if this makes sense. So that to me is a little bit confusing. And maybe also because of the size of the text. It’s not that smaller than this one. So that’s my fault. What we can see here or assume I’m not sure what this is. This is usually I think user translation. What is this like? So this is different recording devices. This I think I’m not sure what this icon stands for this I mean, we can just assume so I guess this is just like things you can do with it. Product Marketing customer service, and I guess this is like okay, you can add people to collaborate What else would I say about this? Yeah, so to me like this is a little bit confusing. I get the idea that AI and human working together. But I think maybe

I don’t know. To me it looks like like I wouldn’t expect text here at this place. Again, based on all the other websites that I’ve seen before, you know because typically you have been here and then you think here. If you have some text here, I think it should be probably maybe smaller. And maybe I think if you took some effort, maybe just the images of the, of the robot with the with the stock lady could be put in a way that already tells you that, okay, it’s AI and human working together, like you wouldn’t need to put a text to it. So that’s, that’s, and here we have in the background, I’m not sure if we’re going to see yellow. More we do. And I think that’s pretty standard, right blue and yellow combination. So I like that. I also like this thing, I started adding this as well to some of the thumbnails. I think it just like a very tiny, have to say, not disturbing, graphical element to make it a little bit more interesting. So I do like it, you cannot see this bar because I’m covering it with the camera. So yeah, I think this looks good. I would think about I’m not sure again, if they AB tested this thing. But I mean, first impression, design wise, it looks good. The most, the main thing that I would probably think about changing is is this text here. Okay, moving on. So this is the section where typically, you would expect maybe to have because of what they’re showing right now what it tells me that normally, if we have like this, I don’t know how to better. But this section with some things. It’s usually the logos of the companies that are your customers, because that’s the short social, social, social proof. But maybe if this is a new company, maybe they’re still working on their testimonials and customers. So I understand it, but I’m not sure if this is that important here. Because it’s like, I don’t know if if there is an expectation that your platform wouldn’t be able able to handle many languages, if this actually adds that much value that okay, maybe for some people, I don’t know. But to me like expectation is if I’m using some platform that it should probably be able to handle a lot of languages. Oh, it’s an image. It’s just a plain image. Language role wrapper. Let’s see how it looks like without it. Elite. Okay, that’s too much. Too close. Okay. Okay, maybe, maybe, wait, let me pull it back. Can I put it back? Okay, I cap our refresh again. So here we are. Okay. So if it’s already here, I don’t think it’s that important. Maybe, maybe the hero image could indicate the languages? Or maybe I would put it somewhere below, but again, so when it comes to the actual style, I think it looks okay. I’m not sure if maybe making it interactive. Let’s say it would be a slowly moving the carousel. But you know, like when you have the list of companies slowly like slides. So maybe this could move and even show more languages. If that’s what you want to show. Maybe it will make it more interesting. But I see we have some animation here. So maybe it would be too much. But I think to me, this is like so much space use just to display the languages. But when it comes to the design, I think the design is okay. So we have the kind of like a ghost button. So clearly, you don’t want to make it full blue, because then it’s going to be competing with this one. I think that’s good. The only thing that I think doesn’t work is the fact that it’s an image and there is not a very crisp, crisp or clear, you know what I mean? So, because this design is very simple. I think maybe it could be just coded as as HTML. Right? That’s the part. Let’s move on. What can you do with Ilyse Eliza? Eliza?

It doesn’t look like it should be something that’s part of a sales page or your landing page or your homepage. It doesn’t fit with the with the rest of the style. Leverage AI or AI based machine translation app is powered by the global leaders including Google Translate Microsoft, blah, blah blah from has lots of smart features for editors can localize video and audio. We have special workflows and plans for video and audio localization. Okay, I like that. What’s more, you get all the building blocks of the solution AI based transcription translation voice add ons. Okay, that’s great. That’s what I was just looking for the for our course localization. Now, one thing that I definitely have to bring up is the is the right thing. I think it looks super good. I’m wondering if the one thing that I have to pause here is I’m not sure if the if the gradient here. So we are going from white to blue with the with the spray think add the background. And then this this part here also has a way I think I understand it. I think there’s some transparency here, right. So the blue is actually not part of this box, but it’s from the background. Am I getting that right?

No, you can see anything. Look. Okay. Scrolling scrolling. Alright, just a bit crowns merging background color. I think it’s this one line 0.5. Yeah. So yeah, this is what I wanted to illustrate that, I think because you were already going into some blue here. It means that this part didn’t stand out that much, because it also has a lot of blue elements in it. So I think I actually like it more the way it is right now. So if it’s full white, and there’s no transparency with the background, but otherwise, I mean, like this, this thing here is super cool. One world, one platform device that makes your global journey really possible.

Okay, the first thing that comes to my mind is that here it shows people around the world, which to me, kind of like suggests that it’s more about the collaboration, people can collaborate on the platform, which I guess is the the human aspect of the post editing, right? But the text analyzer makes your global journey really possible. To me it seems more like your global journey is more related to taking your business to every country on the planet. So I’m not sure if this People should are supposed to represent the people who will be, let’s say, consuming the localized content like the customers, or Ilyse US customers. But that’s just my thought. But visually, I mean, it looks good. One world, one platform and I some extra global. Yeah. Visually it looks good. Next one. Okay. When I saw this for the first time, it reminded me of smart kit. I think I saw the style even so the funny thing is that when I was reviewing SmartCAT, I think they have very similar style of their pitch, or they used to have I think they changed already. Yeah, they also had this kind of like, like layered layers. I think they Yeah, I think Eliza has more layers. On the images, then what’s smart, get used to it. But I know when I first saw that, kind of like a style of the images, which market I took a note in my backlog. And I thought, Okay, I need to do that for my website, because I think it looks very good. So I’m not sure if it makes sense. So you can see that it’s kind of like, like here you have like the crowned the yellow one, then you have the purple on it. And then you even have this rocket ship. It’s kind of look like it’s layered on top of each other. And I think it looks good. It makes it more interesting than if you just had let’s say this gentleman here. And of course, I guess obviously, these are stock photos. They look good. I like the colors. So now we’re introducing more colors. We have purple. That’s quite big one. Here we have pink one. I think it looks okay, like it looks more fun. I’m wondering if how it would look like if you stick if you stuck to just blue and yellow. Obviously, we have here. Companies with global aspirations. I’m not sure why this is upper case. It’s not a term if you have set your eyes on the globe, right? join hands with us. Or we offer you a full kit. I think this is again weird English. Get translation and localization of ads website blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, and original one from one source. Talking to your customers in their languages a competitive and that edge. What am I doing? Gain it at lightning speed and low cost start free game. So this changes to blue. That’s nice. I think. I think it’s already enough. But what I started doing is that maybe when you hover, even the arrow slightly moves. I like it personally. But of course it’s nothing wrong with this thing. So one thing that I’m noticing here is the combination of the people and these kind of like 3d mock ups or what did this I think it looks like 3d. Here. It’s not a 3d So I think the graphic style. Or if I had to use some fancy word, the art direction on this, I think is slightly slightly. They call it off. I don’t know, first impression first impression. It looks good. But if I think about it more, I’m not sure like if these things add much to it. I guess like okay, the rocket ship is you have global aspirations. What do we have here? Marketers, Bob, Bob, Bob, Bob, Bob, Bob, Bob, Bob Barr controls all your content via social media. It just looks like a dashboard, but I’m not sure if this is just like, Okay, we’ll put some image of the dashboard. To me, I don’t know. doesn’t add much. And what I was saying before is that okay, we have humans. What do we have before we have humans humans? This is amazing.

To me, it’s just like, like, it looks like you found some graphics. And you just put it there. And what I was saying like this one, okay, looks like a graphic kind of like a 3d think this is, I think a different style. It looks like a mock up. And this thing. I think this thing is not 3d. Although it looks like it has some some shadow but it doesn’t look so I don’t know, plastic like like these other two. And then the smaller picture that you have here at the corner. The key here. It’s it’s another stock photo. So So we have two graphics one stock so let’s see is it how it’s put here? Is it here separately? Or it’s only just one? So overall, if I had to summarize I really like it. The things that I mentioned, I think the main important thing for me is some of the copy. And for some things like this thing. I don’t even need to be a copywriter to say that. To me this looks off. Like I’m not sure if this is even correct English but of course you You want to do better than just correct English for your homepage and landing page? Yeah. Does it miss any sections? Like get customer customers would be good if you have them already. But yeah, that is that that’s the homepage. So let’s get started with the real work and the reason why summarize when I think about the homepage because it gives us a good expectations of what to what hopefully we’re going to get from the UI. okay, loading verified if it was just verification to Meeting, slow logging, again, another stock picture. See this time you have a very different layout composition. And I’m not sure why because this whole process of signing up and logging in, you technically just have this section for the form, right? Like the size of the fields doesn’t change when you sign up or when you log in. But now the composition is totally opposite. Like to me this, this makes more sense from the Louth perspective because you don’t need that much whitespace for this thing, this to me looks good. But of course, you have more stock images. Wondering why was stuck for so long? Because I have no projects. I have pretty much no data there, right? I don’t know. But I’ll leave it up to you. Okay, so first impression looks good. This thing here looks bad. I’m not sure if it’s the font that or if it’s the font weight, this doesn’t look very clear. It looks like it has like maybe some shadow or something. I’m not sure if you can see it. And again, welcome to Eliza. I mean, is that necessary? So is it necessary to tell me to welcome like, I can see that I look into the platform. Typically, when you have this, I don’t know if it’s called splash screen or something like that. So let’s say I can use it through the trial without being, let’s say, constantly reminded that I need to subscribe. But that’s just my opinion. available credits to 1000s. Because during the trial, I first want to experience the platform, and then decide. So yeah, this is like, this is not the most important thing. I know, it’s the most important thing for for you. But maybe it can drive some people. Settings. Now, this is interesting. Well, all of these things here are there’s nothing about projects, where where are we going to see the projects? Is it that if I create a project, we’re going to get a new item hear me that’s confusing. You have settings here yet the the order here is weird. Subscribe first. And then you have settings with a click Settings. Oh, it doesn’t do anything because I have to click here. That’s another thing. So if this, let’s say that. Okay, I just start creating a project. Start now. Trans editor. That’s interesting. Why is it on? So this is This to me is very confusing. Ah, I see. I don’t know why there’s a different subdomain for the user portal. And another one for the projects. That to me is very confusing. I don’t think I had ever seen anything like that. Like, why don’t I have one main interface and just one app that allows me to do both things. That’s pretty much standard, right? Like all of these things would be moved somewhere to here. And this thing would be or managing the projects this is confusing okay my projects I saw a lay sub projects yeah and this is as you can see inconsistent I’m not sure if you can see it as I’m as I switch between the two you can see that this one has this height this one is slightly higher also the font is slightly larger you can see how inconsistent it is in the header and just the fact that it’s a different I don’t know sub domain or however you want to call it that’s that’s not a valid reason to have it inconsistent and like I mentioned in the beginning, it should be just one thing. Like I don’t know app dot a license, calm alright. timezone UTC. That’s correct. Okay, so I just created projects. All right. See this? What is this think?
