What is quality assurance or QA? Let’s take Papers, Please. As an example, in this game, you have to check the information that the people coming to our storage can present to you. So you check if they have the correct sex in their passport, if they have about visa, their date of birth, their weight, if they’re not carrying any dangerous items. And based on the information that you provided and versus what you check, you let some people in to the glories or Sojka, or you reject them. Now, what does that mean practically in localization, after we finish localization of a certain product, let’s say we create the localized software or an app, we want to test it first before we let it out into the world because the QA people, the testers may want to run through a bunch of test cases and verify if the application is working just fine if the buttons are enough for the new text translation, if maybe the translations are okay, if nothing is crashing, and so on. So basically, they’re checking if the localized app is ready to be released and if it’s working as intended.
