What is a string? Let’s take Hades as an example. In this game, you get to interact with a lot of Olympian gods and goddesses and the text that you see on the screen that is basically a string. So it’s the text that was put into the game. And that is displayed at certain times when certain conditions happen when it comes to localization. We are interested in the strings because that’s what we want to translate. And that’s how we localize the game so you can play the game different languages, but for example, here in this dialogue, we have a paragraph of bunch of sentences when it comes to translation. The translators would actually see this split into different segments, although in the game, you would see this as a one big paragraph coming from the God or the Goddess that you’re just talking to.
